I have been involved in the organization since the beginning. I am a life long resident of East St. Louis, and have lived in the Emerson Park Neighborhood for more than thirty-years. I attend the 9th St. Church of God in Christ. I graduated from East Side High School, attended State Community College, Professional Business School in St. Louis, and the Metro Business College. I received a Business Certificate in computer training from Bits and Bytes Computer Center in Belleville. I am also a Certified Nurses Aide, Certified in Food Handling, licensed Foster Parent/Child Educator, and enjoy working with people. My son attended Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri, on a golf scholarship. He received his BA Degree in Criminal Justice in May 2002, and is completing his Master’s in Sociology. My skills include shorthand, typing, computer experience, and have good interpersonal skills. I am currently working at the Emerson Park Development Corporation as Human Resource Manager and Community Organizing Division Manager, Attendance Officer/Parent Child Liaison. I love working with the youth and the elderly.
